NSD15-12D12 — Isolated dual-output DC/DC converter

MEAN WELL NSD15-12D12 is a regulated dual-output DC/DC converter in the NSD15-D series, with a 9.4–36 V DC input range. It provides simultaneous +12 V and −12 V rails relative to COMMON, rated at 0.62 A per rail and 14.88 W total. This selection focuses on the positive +12 V rail; the module retains both outputs. Built-in remote ON/OFF control and free-air convection cooling support integration into equipment; observe the load, input and temperature limits below.

Control, connections and protection

Remote ON/OFF control	CONTROL input is pin 4, referenced to pin 2 (−VIN). CMOS or open-collector TTL compatible. ON: +5.5 V DC minimum or open circuit. OFF: +2.5 V DC maximum or short CONTROL to pin 2.
Overload protection	Above 105% of rated output power; over-power limiting with automatic recovery after the fault is removed.
Overvoltage clamp	Positive rail: 13.8–18 V; negative rail: −13.8 to −18 V, as listed in the corresponding rail columns.

Output trim connection	Use the 0–100 kΩ trimpot arrangements shown in the datasheet: UP between TRIM (pin 8) and −VOUT (pin 7); DOWN between TRIM (pin 8) and +VOUT (pin 5). Observe this model’s typical adjustment range.
