DALI and PUSH control

DALI interface Primary-side DALI signal between DA+ and DA−. Supports 16 groups and 64 addresses, with a first dimming step fixed at 6% of output. Logarithmic or linear dimming curve selectable.
PUSH short and long actions A short push of 0.1–1 s switches the driver ON/OFF. A long push of 1.5–10 s dims up or down; each long push reverses the dimming direction.
PUSH reset and initial level A push longer than 11 s resets the dimming level to 100%. The factory dimming level is 100%; an action shorter than 0.05 s does not change driver status.
PUSH wiring and group limit Connect the push button only between PUSH and AC/L; connection to AC/N causes a short circuit. One common button may control up to 10 drivers. Maximum cable length from the button to the last driver: 20 m.

Synchronization and temperature compensation

Synchronized operation Up to 10 drivers: 1 master and 9 slaves. Dimming operating range 10–100%; the minimum depends on the dimmer setting. Set every driver to 100% dimming, the factory default dimming level, before synchronizing.
Synchronization cable Flat cable, 22–24 AWG (0.2–0.3 mm²), length <5 m. Follow the SYN +/− connections shown in the family diagram.
External NTC function Connect an external NTC resistor between +NTC and −NTC to sense the luminaire or surrounding environment. Without an NTC, the driver operates normally at the DIP-selected current.
NTC reference thresholds 220 kΩ: 100% of the selected rated current below 60 °C, reducing above 60 °C. 330 kΩ: below/above 70 °C respectively. 470 kΩ: below/above 80 °C respectively. Follow the corresponding reduction curve.
NTC component and control limits Reference data use THINKING TTC03 resistors; MEAN WELL does not supply the NTC. Verify the temperature curve before substituting another brand. Dimming and synchronization are invalid while temperature compensation is in use.

Protection, temperature and environment

Short-circuit protection Constant-current limiting; automatic recovery after removal of the fault.
Overvoltage protection 110–130 V; output shuts down. Re-power the driver to recover.
Overtemperature protection Output shuts down; re-power the driver to recover. No trip-temperature value is specified in the table.
Working case temperature Tcase −30 to +90 °C; maximum case temperature +90 °C. The case limit does not replace the selected-current ambient derating requirement.
Ambient load derating For this setting, the horizontal-installation ambient curve stays at 100% from −30 to +50 °C, then decreases to 60% at +60 °C, where the curve terminates.
Low-input load derating The 60 Hz static input curve shows 80% load at 90 V AC, rising to 100% at 100 V AC and remaining at 100% through 132 V AC.
High-altitude derating For this fanless driver, reduce the permissible ambient temperature by 3.5 °C per 1000 m at operating altitudes above 2000 m (6500 ft).
Working humidity 20–90% RH, non-condensing.
Storage conditions −40 to +80 °C; 10–95% RH.
Temperature coefficient ±0.03%/°C over 0–50 °C.
Vibration 10–500 Hz, 2 G; 10 minutes per cycle, for 60 minutes along each X, Y and Z axis.
Performance-curve conditions Power-factor, THD and efficiency curves use 115 V AC input and Tcase 80 °C; separate curves show each DIP current setting.

Manufacturer warranty The manufacturer’s family catalog states a 3-year warranty; applicable service terms should be confirmed with the supplier.

Installation and system integration

Installation and ventilation Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician indoors. Leave 50 mm of ventilation clearance around the unit, use its cable clamp, and select suitable wiring and circuit protection. Keep the chosen LED voltage and power within the rated limits. Apply the current catalog ambient-temperature and case-temperature limits for the selected DIP current; the older manual temperature summary is not an all-current full-load rating.
LED load and DIP selection Connect LED lamps directly to the driver; do not place an additional DC/DC converter between the driver and the LED lamps. Select the required output current with the DIP switches. The factory-default current is 700 mA; the current selected for this listing describes a configuration choice rather than a separately identified factory variant.
Push-terminal wire preparation For the fitted AC/L, AC/N, LED-output and, where present, PUSH and DALI push terminals, the manual recommends solid conductors of 1.024–1.628 mm diameter, stranded conductors of 0.823–2.08 mm², or 14–18 AWG, with 10 mm stripped. Its recommended push-down force is 3–4 kp (6.61–8.81 lbf); this is an actuator force, not a tightening torque.
Small screw-terminal wiring For fitted FAN, NTC and non-DALI DIM screw terminals, the manual recommends solid conductors of 0.404–0.643 mm diameter, stranded conductors of 0.129–0.326 mm², or 22–26 AWG, with 7 mm stripped. It lists a 3 mm Phillips screwdriver and a tightening torque of 2.88 kgf·cm (2.5 lb-in). Apply these instructions only to terminals actually fitted to the selected model.
Cover and terminal-release tools For the blue cover, the manual specifies a 6 mm Phillips screwdriver and 4.6 kgf·cm (4 lb-in). Its cable-release instruction calls for a slotted screwdriver, while its push-terminal tool table lists 3 mm Phillips. Check the actual release actuator and use a suitable tool; do not apply cover or screw-terminal torque to a push terminal.
Synchronization wiring Synchronize up to 10 drivers as one master and nine slaves, with a 10–100% dimming operating range. Use flat synchronization cable shorter than 5 m, with the specified 22–24 AWG / 0.2–0.3 mm² conductor recommendations. Set all units to 100% dimming before synchronization; the lowest operating level depends on the dimmer setting. Do not use the NTC temperature-compensation function simultaneously with synchronization.
Complete-system EMC verification Verify EMC with the power supply installed in the complete lighting system and connected to a representative LED load. Wiring, assembly and the actual application can affect the result. The linked EMI document provides a test reference; it does not certify the finished system or prescribe installation clearances from its laboratory diagram.
DALI cable installation For the DALI interface on this DA model, the installation manual specifies a maximum cable length of 300 m based on 1.5 mm² or 14 AWG cable. Connect the controller to the dedicated DA terminals; the non-DA analog DIM terminals are not a substitute.
PUSH button connection Use a normally open push button without an indicator light. Connect it only between PUSH and AC/L; never connect it to AC/N because of the short-circuit risk. Keep the PUSH-button cable within the current catalog maximum of 20 m.
