| Installation and ventilation |
Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician indoors. Leave 50 mm of ventilation clearance around the unit, use its cable clamp, and select suitable wiring and circuit protection. Keep the chosen LED voltage and power within the rated limits. Apply the current catalog ambient-temperature and case-temperature limits for the selected DIP current; the older manual temperature summary is not an all-current full-load rating. |
| LED load and DIP selection |
Connect LED lamps directly to the driver; do not place an additional DC/DC converter between the driver and the LED lamps. Select the required output current with the DIP switches. The factory-default current is 700 mA; the current selected for this listing describes a configuration choice rather than a separately identified factory variant. |
| Push-terminal wire preparation |
For the fitted AC/L, AC/N, LED-output and, where present, PUSH and DALI push terminals, the manual recommends solid conductors of 1.024–1.628 mm diameter, stranded conductors of 0.823–2.08 mm², or 14–18 AWG, with 10 mm stripped. Its recommended push-down force is 3–4 kp (6.61–8.81 lbf); this is an actuator force, not a tightening torque. |
| Small screw-terminal wiring |
For fitted FAN, NTC and non-DALI DIM screw terminals, the manual recommends solid conductors of 0.404–0.643 mm diameter, stranded conductors of 0.129–0.326 mm², or 22–26 AWG, with 7 mm stripped. It lists a 3 mm Phillips screwdriver and a tightening torque of 2.88 kgf·cm (2.5 lb-in). Apply these instructions only to terminals actually fitted to the selected model. |
| Cover and terminal-release tools |
For the blue cover, the manual specifies a 6 mm Phillips screwdriver and 4.6 kgf·cm (4 lb-in). Its cable-release instruction calls for a slotted screwdriver, while its push-terminal tool table lists 3 mm Phillips. Check the actual release actuator and use a suitable tool; do not apply cover or screw-terminal torque to a push terminal. |
| Synchronization wiring |
Synchronize up to 10 drivers as one master and nine slaves, with a 10–100% dimming operating range. Use flat synchronization cable shorter than 5 m, with the specified 22–24 AWG / 0.2–0.3 mm² conductor recommendations. Set all units to 100% dimming before synchronization; the lowest operating level depends on the dimmer setting. Do not use the NTC temperature-compensation function simultaneously with synchronization. |
| Complete-system EMC verification |
Verify EMC with the power supply installed in the complete lighting system and connected to a representative LED load. Wiring, assembly and the actual application can affect the result. The linked EMI document provides a test reference; it does not certify the finished system or prescribe installation clearances from its laboratory diagram. |
